God inspite of his power, is powerless to save a man who doesn't keep his commandments of love

When most people think of God, what often comes to mind is a picture of a seemingly powerful creator who can do anything his mind can likely imagine. While that has some elements of truth in it, you should know however, that God can't particularly do everything, this will be explained in detail subsequently.

The bible verse in Jeremiah 32 vs 27, is one of a myriad of places among others in the holy bible where God says he can do all things. This was actually a statement made by God himself, when he was having a conversation with jeremiah about a prophecy concerning Israel. A lifted quote from that verse is shown below.

“Look, I am the LORD, the God who rules over all flesh. Is anything too difficult for me?" - Jeremiah 32 vs 27 (International Standard Version)

In retrospect with a bit of digression, the study of the events which occured in the life of king solomon during his lifetime, shows that God did not intend for king solomon to turn away from him. Infact, solomon's act of offering of sacrifices to idols made God almighty furious with him. For a certain, don't you think that God would have acted promptly if he had the ability to make solomon keep his commandments of humility, respect for tradition, respect for fellow israelites (by not overtaxing them) and some others, all of which solomon disregarded at a stage of his life (even though he later on came to the conclusion that true wisdom is simply the fear of God).

Subsequently on in this case, is definitely where God had the power to act. He basically limited solomon's pride from going any further, by splitting solomon's kingdom into two.

"Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, “Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant." - 1 Kings 11:11 (New King James Version)

In Genesis 6 vs 3, God discovered that in order for mankind to live harmoniously with him and keep his commandments perfectly, by his divine influence, a problematic sort of psychological struggle would always emerge. Mankind on its own end, would think it knows better than God and so will start to behave in manner that conforms to his heart's taste. While God on his part, loses companionship with mankind resulting in a disagreement between the two parties of interest. This is known from the bible verse as shown:

"And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." - Genesis 6:3 (New King James Version)

So now you know that there is only so much that God almighty can do!

God Almighty, the father, is the first person in the Trinity,  while Jesus Christ is God in the second person of the Trinity, along with the Holy Spirit being the third person in the Trinity. All these three personalities have distinct roles each perform for the core functioning of all existence. They hold all of existence together and keep it from falling apart. Despite their abilities and roles, their effective influence in the lives of men, women and children is limited.

This is because God can only save men, women and children who he can command through their obedience to his commandments of love

Take this scenario which relates an event, with the holy bible. For instance; imagine you're a firefighter (who in this case we relate to the person of God Almighty). He is trying to save people (mankind), from a burning building (hell fire, of which God cannot put out because of his reflex characteristic wrathful behaviour, resulting from his holiness).

Here in this scenario, the firefighter cries out to the people in the building that there is a door at the left corridor where an escape chute has been positioned (Jesus Christ our saviour). The firefighter keeps yelling but only 4 out of 11 occupants agree to take the leap of faith and run through the searing flames to access the door, from where they slid down through the chute to their safety on the ground floor. Three persons successfully escaped while the fourth is still in the process of escaping.  Now,  immediately the fourth person who after sliding through the escape chute, reaches a safe distance  away from the blazing building, to where the other three people who had escaped were safely situated, the burning building collapses and tragically causes the deaths of the other 7 people who never left the building.

Please note from this simple illustration, that only 4 people obeyed the firefighter and escaped, while the other 7 persons chose to stay behind. The firefighter was only able to save 4 people because the 4 persons trusted him and followed his directive. The firefighter was willing to save the 7 people who perished, but couldn't because they did not act timely enough based on trust, in reaction to the reassuring words of the firefighter, to escape to safety. This entire case study is fully relatable to the holy bible.

God wants to save everybody on earth from the established reality of hell. He cannot put out the fire and stop the worms, of which Jesus Christ had this to say about it in mark 9 vs 47 - 48;

"47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire— 48 where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched." - Mark 9: 47 - 48 (New King James Version)

However, God can still save everyone but he can only save as many as those who keep his commandments and obey his laws. Anyone who doesn't keep the ordinances of God will lack the flavour of the relationship needed to be obedient to the authority of God.

Obedience to the commandments of God is everyones' passport to heaven, while Jesus Christ is the door which processes that passport to determine its validity of  entrance into heaven. Without both it will be virtually impossible to live with God in heaven.

In essence, keep God's laws on the firm belief that Jesus Christ is the only one who can give you access to God, of which for the generality of mankind, it will occur  when Jesus Christ returns again, after he raises everyone from the dead, and then selects only the doers of the commandments of God, ultimately granting them eternal life to live with God, at the end of the age.

Truly, the lord has more of a delight in simple obedience than in a host of  sacrifices! (paraphrased) - 1 Samuel 15 vs 22.
