The second coming of Jesus Christ

The second coming of Jesus Christ is a belief among Christians that Jesus Christ will one day return to earth, with the major aim of judging mankind. While this religious view is mostly appreciated by Christians, it is further skeptically viewed by Christians, that the second coming of Christ, will have a binding effect on everyone, including men, women and children, across nationalities,  languages and other metric divides.

Take a look at this verse of the bible, lifted from 2 Corinthians 5:11 (King James Version):

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

This short excerpt of apostle Paul's second letter to the Corinthians, tells of what he terms "the terror of the Lord". Here,  he was simply informing the Corinthians that he was preaching the good news to them partly as a result of his desire to avoid the wrath of God in the afterlife, of which he encouraged them, to emulate him by also spreading the word of God to other areas, wherever they could.

For further explanation, the term "the terror of the Lord" from 2 Corinthians 5 vs 11, is that side of God which does not show mercy to a soul even if the condemned individual pleads for forgiveness after he/she had died in sin. The second coming of Jesus Christ throws light to this discussion.  Jesus Christ said in Mark 13:32 (New International Version):

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Jesus Christ at this verse, proclaimed to his disciples, and is still declaring by inference to all mankind today, that we all should prepare for his second coming, because even he does not know when God will put an end to the world, and judge humanity alongside Jesus Christ (himself). Only God knows the day and exact hour.  This command, Jesus Christ says, is to all people's,  all over the earth.

In essence, God is saying today, that you must believe in his son Jesus Christ, as the only spotless son of God, that died to save you from death, through his sacrifice on the cross.

Also God says that you must keep away from anything that he listed as bad according to his commandments in the holy bible,  however, he has invalidated his laws regarding animal sacrifices due to the sacrifice which Jesus (his co-eternal son)  took on the cross for our sakes. Nevertheless, you must obey all instructions of God according to the direction of the Holy spirit as it is written in the scriptures, in order to spend eternity with God in heaven.
